Gloss allows you to easily translate JSON to models and back. And it's written in Swift.
Gloss joins many other JSON parsing libraries in Swift; but, tries to solve the same problem with specific pain points in mind:
- Immutable models - A model should not be required to have all properties be mutable
- Serialization - A JSON parsing library is more useful when it offers not only translation from JSON, but back to JSON
- Ease of model creation and customization - Models should be fairly compact and deserialization should allow for custom transformation of values
- Ease of comprehension - A library should be decently easy to understand if one needs to dive into the source code
